Damon Hurd

Damon Hurd is the author of six graphic novels including his Eisner nominated debut, My Uncle Jeff. His most recent work includes the second graphic novel in the “Miles and Anna” trilogy, Pictures of You, with co-creator Tatiana Gill and the series Temporary with co-creator Rick Smith. He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife, Kathryn, and their daughter Caelyn. Write Damon.

Tatiana’s comix have appeared in over 50 publications, including Pictures of You and A Strange Day (with co-creator Damon Hurd), True Porn, What’s Wrong?, Stereoscomic, Dark Horse’s 9/11 vol.I, Stalagmite, Kerosene, Mutate and Survive, Matte Magazine, MOXIE, Working for the Man, and Friends of Lulu: Storytime. Rick Smith

Rick Smith is best known for his work with the devilish Shuck (which he produces with his wife, Tania). The Shuck Unmasked trade paperback (Top Shelf; ISBN 1-891830-47-3) collects the Ignatz-nominated Shuck Comics plus 48 pages of new material. His work also includes Temporary, a series he co-created with Damon Hurd and the graphic travelogue, Baraka and Black Magic in Morocco, published by Alternative Comics. His work has been favorably compared to that of Seth and James Kochalka. He and Tania live in Denver with their daughter Sage and cat Peco. Write Rick.

Christopher Steininger (the artist of The White Elephant) was born and raised on a farm in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. He currently lives in Toronto, Ontario. He is self-taught. He is 26. Write Chris.


Pedro Camello

Pedro Camello

Pedro Camello Abengozar was born in Caceres, Extremadura (Spain) in 1974, and has been crazy about comics since then. He remembers reading the death of Gwen Stacy at 6 years old and surviving that impact. For two years, he’s worked exclusively in comics. In Spain he has created several fantasy-historic comics like Guido the Black and Treyes. He recently joined Sulaco Studios and with Damon Hurd has created My Uncle Jeff, his first work in America, and A Sort of Homecoming. His great passions are history, books, comics, nature, beer and his girlfriend Pilar. Write Pedro.
